A RESOLUi~ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE FINAL STATfM~gT OF
(I~V~3NITY DEVELOPM~Ff O~ AND ~ USE OF
FOR P~0GRAM YEAR 1994-95 AND AMf~ING T}fE 1992-93 AND
1993-94 FINAL STAT~4~FI~ FOR ~ OF FUNDS.
WHerEAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, is an Entitlement
City under the regulations governing the Community Development Block Grant
WHEREAS, notice of the availability of funds for eligible projects
was published in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin newspaper; and
WHEREAS, City staff has received proposals for projects and programs
from various organizations in the Cum~unity; and
WHEREAS, On March 16, 1994 and May 18, 1994, the City Council held
legally noticed public hearings and received all public input regarding the
city's Community Development Block Grant Program for the 1994-95 fiscal year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVfD, that the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, California does hereby take the following actions:
1. Adopt the Final Statement of Cum,~unity Development objectives
and Projected Use of Funds (Final Statement) for program year
1994-95 and make all findings, determinations, and
certifications, and adopt all policies therein; and
2. Select the following projects and programs to be funded out of
the City's 1994-95 ~ity Development Block Grant award:

Approve the amendment to the 1992-93 and 1993-94 Final Statements to
allowreprogramming of funds as follows:
$11,500 remaining frc~ the 1992-93 Sierra Madre Street Project
will be allocated toward the Calaveras Avenue Street
Improvements, frc~n9th Street toArrcwRoute.

A total of $5,230 remaining frc~ fiscal year 1992-93 and 1993-94
allocations for Hc~eless Outreach will be allocated toward this
program's 1994-95 allocation.
Determine that the proposed projects are the most envirorm~ntally
desirable and that adequate mitigation ban been included in each to
avoid significant environmental impacts under the National
Environmental Protection Act (NEPA); and
Determine that all of the proposed projects are exempt from
environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act
(Section 15301 of the C~QA Guidelines); and

Authorize the City Manager to sign the application for the City's
program year 1994-95 C~,,~nity Development Block Grant Entitlement
Allocation, to sutm~t the Final Statement and Amendments thereto,
and all understandings and assurances contained therein, and to act
in connection with the submission of the Final Statement and to
provide such additional information as may be required.
