A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING
COMMISSION APPROVING SITE APPROVAL NO. 80-14
LOCATED AT 8806 BASE LINE, IN SHOPPING CENTER
AT NORTHEAST CORNER OF BASE LINE ROAD AND
CARNELIAN STREET IN THE C-1 ZONE.
WHEREAS, on October 3, 1980, a formal application was submitted
requesting review of the above described project; and
WHEREAS, on October 22, 1980, the Planning Commission held a
duly advertised public hearing for the above. described project.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the following findings have been made:
1. That the site is adequate in size and shape.
2. That the site has adequate access.
• 3. That the proposed use will have no adverse effect on
abutting property.
4. That the proposed use is consistent with the General
Plan.
5. That the conditions listed in this report are necessary
to protect the public health, safety, comfort, convenience,
and general welfare.
SECTION 2: That Site Approval No. 80-14 is approved subject
to the following conditions:
1. The hours of operation of this business shall be 8:00
a.m. to 6:00 p.m. , Monday through Friday. Extension of
these hours or the establishment of a "night emergency
clinic" shall require review and approval by the Planning
Commission.
2. Interior modifications shall be made to this unit that
will make noise and odor from this operation undetectable
from outside the unit or from adjoining units . These
modifications shall include the latest state of the art
regarding sanitation procedures and noise attenuation.

• 3. The business shall be conducted entirely within the
enclosed building. No outdoor runs or holding areas
shall be permitted.
4. Extended boarding of individual animals shall not be
permitted at this facility. Animals shall not be kept on
the premises more than 3 days .
5. This facility is for the treating of dogs and cats only.
No other animals shall be kept or treated on the premises.
6. The facility shall be maintained in a sanitary condition
and any deceased animals shall be handled and disposed of
in accordance with San Bernardino County Health Department
and the Humane Society regulations.
7. The Planning Commission may review this approval at any
time that it appears that the conditions of approval are
not being met or when problems relative to this use
arise. The Commission may revoke such approval if
violations or unforeseen problems occur.

I, JACK LAM, Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced, passed, and adopted by the Planning Commission of
the City of Rancho Cucamonga, at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission held on the 22nd day of October; 1980 by the following vote
to-wit:
