A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING AN UPDATED FEE
SCHEDULE APPLICABLE TO VARIOUS CITY DEPARTMENTS
AND AMENDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 12-196, 06-142, 07-048,
08-210, 14-191 79-1, AND 99-146.
A. Recitals.
1. The California Government Code allows the City to establish fees and charges for
municipal services, provided such fees and charges do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost
to the City in providing the service to which the fee or charge applies.
2. Data indicating the estimated or actual cost to provide each service, for which the fees
and charges set forth herein apply, was made available to the public at least ten (10) days prior
to the date of the public hearing.
3. On January 21, 2015, City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga conducted a duly
noticed public hearing on the amendment.
4. All legal prerequisites prior to the adoption of this Ordinance have occurred.
B. Resolution.
The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga finds and resolves as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby specifically finds that all of the facts set forth in the
Recitals, Part A, of this resolution are true and correct.
SECTION2: The City Council hereby specifically finds that the fees and charges set forth
do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing the service for which
the fee or charge be levied.
SECTION 3: The City hereby adopts the following fees for services performed by the various
City departments as noted below, and amends Resolution 12-196, 06-142, 07-
048, 08-210, 79-1, 99-146, and 14-191 accordingly.
SECTION 4 The City hereby adopts the following fees and policies related to services
performed by the Community Services Department.

Outdoor Park Facility Filming Fees (Groups 2—4)
Filming for Commercial/Business purposes in neighborhood and community parks is approved
based upon availability of park space and requires a film permit. It may require a Temporary
Use Permit and any applicable fees or staff costs for City services. Current prevailing fees will
be applied by various City Departments.
Revenue Transaction Tracking
Park Maintenance Fee
Clarification on all Park Maintenance Fee revenue funds: 90% of all Park Maintenance Fees
collected will be deposited into the Special District Fund where use occurs, directly offsetting
costs in each fund. The remaining 10% will be deposited into the CSD Recreation Fund.
Epicenter Rental Fees
100% of fees collected for Epicenter Adult Softball and Baseball Fields and 50% of Soccer Fields
will be deposited into the City's Sports Complex Fund 700 and 50% remains in the CSD
Recreation Fund.
100% of fees collected for rentals of Epicenter Stadium, Parking areas and Special Event areas
will be deposited into the City's Sports Complex Fund 700.
SECTION 5: The City hereby adopts the following fees and policies related to services
performed by the Animal Care & Services Department.
A. Animal Adoptions:
1. Animals that are six months of age and older are considered adults for the purposes
of determining their adoption fees.
2. The adoption fee will be waived for all pets six years or older.
B. Animal impound fees: Effective July 1, 2015, animal impound fees shall be as follows:
1. First impound within the year: $42.00
2. Second impound within the year: $70.00
3. Third impound within the year: 98.00

In addition to the impound fees noted above, Animal Care and Services will charge the current
fees for unaltered pets in accordance with state law. As of the date of this resolution, those fees
are $35 for the first occurrence; $50 for the second occurrence; and $100 for the third
occurrence.
C. Veterinary Service Fees:
1. Effective July 1, 2015, veterinary service fees shall be established as follows:

2. In addition to the fees noted above, any offsite emergency hospital costs and/or other
outside veterinary care costs incurred by the City during a pet's stay at the Animal
Center are the responsibility of the pet's Owner at the time of reclamation.

E. Licensing
1. Effective July 1, 2015, the multiyear licensing option will be discontinued.
F. Fee Waivers
The Director of Animal Care and Services or his/her designee is authorized to waive the
following fees and penalties as he/she deems necessary to best serve the interests of the City:

SECTION 6: The City hereby adopts the following fees related to services performed by
the City Manager's Office as noted below, and amends Resolution 14-191
accordingly.

SECTION 7: The Cty hereby adopts the following fees related to services performed by the
Finance Department.

The above new fees supersede the following prior fee resolutions, effective February 1, 2015:
Resolution No. 99-146 (Taxicab Driver Permit Fee, Taxicab Driver Permit Renewal Fee, Taxicab
Service Permit Fee, and Taxicab Service Permit Renewal Fee) and Resolution No. 79-1
(Returned Item Charge).
SECTION 8: The fees set forth in this Resolution shall take effect upon the adoption of this
resolution, unless otherwise noted in each section.
SECTION 9: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
