Directed by Kevin Slay
Egocentric and famously outlandish
radio-wit Sheridan Whiteside,after
being invited to dinner at the quaint
home of Mr.and Mrs.Stanley,slips
on a piece of ice and fractures his
hip.At the threat of being sued, the
Stanley ’s have no choice but to put
up (and put up with)their outrageous
guest, his odd collection of gifts and
his wild group of acquaintances.This
classic play is a comedy that serves
as a subtle reminder;choose your
dinner guests wisely.

Community Outreach Prog ram
The Animal Care and Services Department is undertaking an
educational outreach prog ram to inform our citizens about several
topics that are important to their pets.An Animal Care and
Services Department employee will be going door to door with
educational resources on the importance of vaccinations,
spaying/neutering and licensing pets as well as information on
the services the Center provides.
Both the State of California and San
Bernardino County require that all
dogs four months of age or older be
vaccinated against rabies by a licensed
veterinarian.In addition,dogs must be
licensed with our Animal Care and
Services Department.Vaccinations are
one of the most important ways to
ensure your pets are protected against
several diseases.Some diseases,like rabies and parvo,are often
fatal. In order to help dog owners be compliant with local and state
laws,the Animal Care and Services
Center provides low cost
vaccination clinics each Sunday.
Obtaining a license is a vital way to
provide for your dog’s well-being.
A license provides identification in
case your dog is lost and allows for
a quicker reunion with you.It also
lets anyone who sees it know that
your dog is vaccinated against rabies.Canvassers will be able to
license dogs on the spot, making the process easy and convenient.
By reaching out,the citizens of Rancho Cucamonga will hopefully
become more aware of the resources available and pet owner
responsibilities. Our goal is to build a community in which every
adoptable pet finds a home -a goal we can accomplish with
your help.
Spay Day uSa
Spay Day U.S.A.,held on February 22nd,
promotes the many benefits of spaying
and neutering pets. There are not enough
responsible homes available for the
number of pets being born,which
contributes to the national tragedy of pet
euthanasia.In addition to helping homeless
pets, there are real benefits for owners
who spay and neuter their pets.Their pets
are safer, healthier, less expensive to care for and easier to live with.
Spaying and neutering eliminates many housebreaking problems;
reduces dominance behaviors which can be a source of aggression
towards children;and reduces or eliminates cancers and other
health problems.
To help Rancho Cucamonga residents take advantage of the
important benefits of spaying and neutering, vouchers are available
at the Center which will help reduce the cost of this service
through a number of veterinarians in the City.
Please do your part to help solve pet over population and help
your pet be a healthier and more enjoyable companion.
