When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't
be found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her
unique style and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community. With original music by
Tony° and Oscar winner, Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), this uplifting musical was nominated
for five Tony Awards°, including Best Musical. A sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship, Sister Act is reason to REJOICE!

JANUARY IS NATIONAL
WALK YOUR PET MONTH
A walk provides not only a workout, but also the chance to
work on your dog's leash training. A canine who has expended
energy by exercising is more apt to focus on the lesson.
Here are some tips for walking your dog:
• A hike can help them tap into its instinct to explore.
• Even short hikes can lengthen and improve your dog's
quality of life, as well as your own.
• Taking a turn with your barking buddy, whether it's around
the block or your neighborhood park, can transform them
into a social butterfly. Meeting other people, children and
fellow dogs can help any canine tackle shyness and fear.
• Exposure to traffic noises can help your canine companion
become comfortable with his surroundings.
• If your fur family consists of more than one dog, taking them
on treks together will help your pooches' bond as a pack.
O O O To keep updated on all of our events,
bookmark our website, RCPets.info.
J".&U(f 1 ;
r
• Securely anchor your Christmas tree so it doesn't tip and fall.
• Avoid Mistletoe & Holly: Holly, when ingested, can cause pets to suffer
nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
• Holiday Glow: Don't leave lighted candles unattended. Pets may burn
themselves or cause a fire if knocked over.
• Tinsel -less Town: Kitties love this sparkly "toy." If swallowed, it can lead
to an obstructed digestive tract, severe vomiting, dehydration and
possible surgery.
• Wired Up: Keep wires, batteries and glass or plastic ornaments out of
paws' reach. A wire can deliver a potentially lethal electric shock.
