HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-67 - ResolutionsRESOLUTION NO. 84-67 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ORDERING TO BE QUITCLAIMED A PORTION OF EIGHTH STREET AT HAVEN AVENUE WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 83-99 passed on June 15, 1983, the Council of the City of Rancho Cueamonga vacated a portion of 8th Street hereinafter more particularly described; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held and there were no protests, oral or written, to said vacation. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as follows: SECTION 1: The Council hereby remits and quitclaims a portion of said vacated Eighth Street being described in Exhibit 'A' attached and part hereof to Cadillac Fairview/California, Inc. SECTION 2: The Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, California with the Quitclaim Deed. SECTION 3: The Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force. SECTION 4: The City Engineer shall be authorized to sign the Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the City approving same. PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 21st day of March, 1984. AYES: Dehl, Buquet, Mikels, Frost NOES: None ABSENT: Sohlosser ATTEST: ~en~f"Wasserman, City Clerk 83133 02-28-84 EXHIBIT "A" LEGAL DESCRIPTION A PORTION OF VACATED EIGHTH STREET RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA That portion of Lot 4, Section 13, Township i South, Range 7 West, San Bernardino Meridian, in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, County of San Bernardino, State of California, according to the Map of Cucamonga Lands, as per plat recorded in Book 4, Page 9 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County, and more particularly, being that portion of the land described in that certain deed to the County of San Bernardino recorded ~larch 14, 1974 in Book 8387, Page 57 of Official Records in the office of said County Recorder, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Parcel Z3 of Amending Parcel Map No. 6194 as shown on the map filed in Book 66, Pages 66 through 70 of Parcel .Maps in the office of said County Recorder; thence North 4~14'49'' East 36.43 feet along the Northerly prolongation of the Westerly line of said Parcel 23 to the Southerly line of Eighth Street, 60.00 feet in width, as shown on said Parcel RIap No. 6194; thence South 89~31'52'' East 236.00 feet along said Southerly line to a point of cusp with a tangent curve concave Southerly having a radius of 370.00 feet, said curve being also a portion of the Northerly Line of said Parcel 23; thence along said Northerly line, the following courses: Westerly 111.96 feet along said curve through a central angle of 17c20'15'' to the beginning of a reverse curve concave Northerly having a radius of 430.00 feet and Westerly 130.12 feet along said curve through a central angle of 17~20'15'' to the point of beginning.
