SUMMIT AVENUE AND WARDMAN BULLOCK ROAD - APN: 29-6-082-16.

RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, that:
WHEREAS, the above-described property is located within and consistent
with the established Sphere of Influence of the City, and is contisuous to
current City limits; and
WHEREAS, the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited, and a
description of the boundaries of the territory is set forth in Exhibit "1"
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated hereinl and
WHEREAS, the annexation of the property will represent a logical
extension of the City's boundaries and urban servicesI and
WHEREAS, it is the City's intention to provide the usual and necessary
urban services to the ares upon annexation, as outlined in the Plan of
Services ~ and
WHEREAS, the City has de=ermined that the annexation of the property
to the City would be beneficial to the public purposes of the City, in that the
Property will provide for develo~nent, within the district, in a manner
consistent with the City's General Plan and with related development: and
WHEREAS, the City Council as governing body of the City of Rancho
Cucamongs desires to initiate proceedings for a Change of Organization/
Annexation, in accordance with Government code Section 56195 for the above
described proper~y.
WHEREAS, the County of San Bernsrdino has approved Tentative Tract Map
No's. 13564 and 13565 in respect to the above-described: and
WHEREAS. the City. prior to the issuance of the County Development
Approvals. reviewed the proposed develo[ment as depicted in the County
Develol~nent Approvals, and participated in the procedures initiated within the
County culminating in the issuance of the County Develo~ent Approvals; and

WHEREAS, the City has determined that the annexation of the property
to the City would be beneficial to the public purposes of the City, in that the
property, developed in a manner authorized by the County Develotlaent Approvals,
would be consistent with the City's General Plan; and
WHEREAS. the City Council as governing body of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga desires to initiate proceedings for a Change of Organization
Annexation. in accordance with Cover, merit Code Section 56195 for the above
described property.
NOW. ~{ERE~ORE. the City Councll as the governing body of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga does hereby adopt, approve, resolve, determine, and order as
follows:
SECTION 1: Application and a proposal is hereby made to the Local
Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Bernardino for Change of
Organization (Annexation) to the City of Rancho Cucamonia of the herein
described property as outlined in the justification form, which is Exhibit "A"
to this resolution, and is by this reference incorporated herein as though
fully set forth in accordance to the terms and conditions stated above and in
the manner provided by the Cortese-Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of
1985.
SECTION 2: The City clerk is hereby authorized and directed to fi/e a
certified copy of this Resolution with the Executive Officer of the Local
Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Bernardino.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 1st day of June, 1988.

The west 1/2 of the east 1/2 and the east 1/2 of the west 1/2 of Section 22,
Township I north, range 6 west, San Bernardino base and meridian, according to
the official plat of said land.
Also excepting therefrom that certain strip of land 80 feet in width, as
described in that certain grant deed executed by Samuel J. Wassem, et ux., to
the Metropolitan Water District of Southern C~lifornia, a Public Oorporation,
recorded July 30, 1969 in book 7276, page 603, offlcial records.
Also excepting therefrom those certain strips of land 330 feet in width, as
