A RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION BY THE ~ITY COUNCIL AS ~HE
GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY 0 F RANCHO UJ CArD,EA.
CALIFORNIA, DE(LARING INTENT TO FJRSUE A CHANGE OF
ORGANIZATION AND REQUESTING ~HE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION
OOMMISSION TO UNDERTAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF HIGHLAND AVENUE. SOUTH
OF SUMMIT AVENUE EXTENSION. EAST OF DEER CREEK UTILITY
CORRIDOR. AND WEST OF THE OOUNTY/CITY BOUNDARY - APN;
225-161-19. 32. 33. 34. 35. 36. 37. 38. 49. 53. 55. AND 61
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga. that:
WHEREAS. the above-described property is located within and consistent
with the established Sphere of Influence of the City. and is contiguous to the
current city 1/mitsI and
WHEREAS. the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited, and a
description of the boundaries of the territory is set forth in Exhibit
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS. the annexation of the property w//1 represent a logical
extension of the City's boundaries and urban services: and
WHEREAS. it is the City's intention to provide the usual and necessary
urban services to the area upon annexation, as outlined in the Plan of
Servicesl and
WHEREAS. the City has determined that the annexation of the property
to the city would be beneficial to the public purposed of the City. in that the
Property wLll provide for develo~ent, within the district, in a manner
consistent with the City's General Plan and with related develo~entl and
WHEREAS. The City Council as governing body of the city of Rancho
Cucamonga desires to initiate proceedings for a Change of Organ/zation/
Annexation. in accordance with Government Code Section 56195 for the above
described property.
WHEREAS. it is desired to provide that the proposed annexation be
subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. The subject property will be reEulated in accordance with the Low
Residential Develo~nent Code standards, in addition, to the City
of Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Laws and Ordinances.
NOW. THEREFORE. the City Council as the governing body of the City of
Rancho Cucamonsa does hereby adopt, approve, resolve, determine, and order as
follows:

SECTION 1: Application. and a proposal is hereby made to the Local
Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Bernardino for Change of
Organization/Annexation tr the City of Rancho Cucamonga of the herein described
property as outlined in the justification form, which is Exhibit hA" to this
resolution, and is by this reference incorporated herein as though fully set
forth in accordance to the terms and conditions stated above and in the manner
provided by the Cortese-Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a
certified copy of this Resolution with the Executive Officer of the Local
Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Bernardino.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 1st day of June, 1988.

Bernardino Base and Meridian, according to the official plat thereof, with the
Easterly line of said Southwest one quarter, thence Southerly alone the
Easterly line of said Southwest one quarter to the Northerly line of the South

Southwest one quarter; thence Westerly along said Northerly line to the
