A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
ORDERING TO BE VACATED, JUNEBERRY DRIVE, LOCATED SOUTH OF
ARROW ROUTE AND WEST OF ETIWANDA AVENUE, APPROXIMATELY 60
FEET WIDE AND 710 FEET LONG - APN 229-121-35
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 89-068, passed on February 15, 1989, the
Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga declared its intention to vacate a
portion of a City street hereinafter more particularly described, an~ set the
hour of 7:30 P.M. on March 15, 1989, in the Lions Park Community Center
Building, located at 9161 Base Line, Rancho Cucamonga, California, as the time
and place for hearing all persons objecting to the proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, due to extended posting time from 10 days before the hearing
to 15 days before the hearing under Section 8300, et. seq., of the Streets and
Highway Code, a public hearing is set at the hour of 7:30 P.M. on
April 5, 1989, in the Lions Park Community Center Building, located at 9161
Base Line Road, Rancho Cucamonga, California, as the time and place for
hearing al persons objecting to the proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, such public hearing has been held at said time and place,
and there were no protests, oral or written, to such vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: The Council finds all the evidence submitted that a
portion of Juneberry Drive is unnecessary for present or prospective public
street purposes, and the City Council hereby makes its order vacating that
portion of said City street as shown on Map No. V-086 on file in the office of
the Clerk of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, which has been further described in
a legal description which is attached hereto, marked Exhibits "A" and "B", and
by reference made a part thereof.
SECTION 2: The subject vacation shall be subject to the reservations
and exceptions, if any, for existing utilities on record.
SECTION 3: The subject vacation shall be retained as an access and
utility easement for the southerly property.
SECTION 4: The Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution
to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County,
California.
SECTION 5: The Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of
this resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 5th day of April, 1989.

Commencing at the intersection of the South line of Arrow Route, 60.00
feet wide as described in deed to said County, recorded November 6,
1924, in Book 870, Page 369 of Deeds, with the East line of said
Southwest quarter of Section 8; thence South O0° 22' 17" West, 20.00
feet along the East line of said Southwest quarter to an intersection
with a line that is parallel with and distant 50.00 feet South of the
centerline of said Arrow Route; thence North 890 41' 10" West along
said parallel line, a distance of 922.91 feet to a point in the East
line of land described in deed to Southern Surplus Realty Co., recorded
December 19, 1974, in Book 8580, Page 19, Official Records, said point
also being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 010 27' 27" West
(record South 1o 12' 19" WestJ along said Easterly line, a distance of
710.34 feet; thence South 89v 41' 10" East to an intersec{ion with a
line that is parallel with and 60.00 feet East from the East line of

A triangular shaped parcel of land bounded as follows: On the West by
the East line of said Parcel No. 1; on the North by a line that is
parallel with and 50.00 feet South; measured at right angles, from the
centerline of said Arrow route; and on the Southeast by the arc of a
curve concave to the Southeast and having a radius of 20.00 feet, said
curve being tangent to the East line of said Parcel No. 1 and tangent
to said parallel line.
