AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCRO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
AMENDMENT NO. 87-09, A R~QUEST TO AMEND THE DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT MAP FROM THE EXISTING "GC" (GENERAL 00MMERCIAL),
"OP" (OFFI CE/PROFESS IONAL) , 'SM" (MEDIUM DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL), "FC" (FLOOD CONTROL), "ISP" (INDUSTRIAL AREA
SPECIFIC PLAN) , AND "ESP" (ETIWANDA SPECIFIC PLAN
AMENDMENT) TO "FSP" (FOOTHILL BOULEVARD SPECIFIC PLAN) FOR
560 AfRES OF LAND (SEE EXHIBIT "A") ADJACENT TO FOOTHILL
BOULEVARD BETWEEN GROVE AVENUE AND DEER CREEK CHANNEL AND
BETWEEN THE I-IS FREE~AY AND EAST AVENUE WITHIN THE
FOOTHILL BOULEVARD SPECIFIC PLAN
The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby finds and determines the
following:
A. That the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
following a public hearing held in the time and manner prescribed
by la~, recommends the rezoning of the property hereinafter
described, and this City Council has held a public hearing in the
time and manner prescribed by la~ and duly heard and considered
said recommendation.
B. That this rezoning is consistent with the General Plan of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga.
C. That this rezoning is consistent with the objectives of the
Development Code of the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
D. That this rezoning has been reviewed and considered in compliance
with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 by the
certification of the Foothill Boulevard Specific Plan and General
Plan Amendment 87-03B Environmental Impact Report as certified on
September 16, 1987.
SECTION 2: The following described real property is hereby rezoned in
the manner seated, and the development district map is hereby amended as
indicated in Exhibit "A":

THE DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT MAP SHALL BE AMENDED FROM THE
EXIS TING "G C" (GENERAL OOMMERCIAL), "OP" (OFFI CE/
PROFESSIONAL) , 'SM" (MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) , "FC"
(FLOOD GONTROL) , "ISP" (INDUSTRIAL AREA SPECIFIC PLAN) ,
AND '~SP" (ETIWANDA SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMENT) TO "FSP"
(FOOTHILL BOULEVARD SPECIFIC PLAN) FOR 560 ACRES OF LAND
ADJACENT TO FOOTHILL BOULEVARD BETWEEN GROVE AVENUE AND
DEER CREEK CHANNEL AND BETWEEN THE I-I5 FREE~AY AND EAST
AVENUE WITHIN THE FOOTHILL BOULEVARD SPECIFIC PLAN
SECTION 3. The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk
shall cause the same to be published within fifteen (15) days after its passage
at least once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of general circulation published
in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, California.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 1987.

held on the 7th day of October, 1987, and was finally passed at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga held on the 21st
day of October, 1987.
