AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITer COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCMO
CUCAMDNGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVI~ INDUSTRIAL AREA SPECIFIC
PLAN (I.S.P.) AMENDMENT 87-01 R~QUESTING LAND ON THE SOUTH
SIDE OF FOOTHILL BOULEVARD BETWEEN THE 1-15 FRE~AY AND
ETIWANDA AVENUE BE DELETED FROM THE I.S.P.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cueamonga, does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga City Council has made the following
f indings:
1. That the subject properties are part of the Foothill Boulevard
Specific Plan as recommended for approval by the Planning
Commission. The Planning Commission recommended that the City
Council approve and adopt Industrial Area Specific Plan Amendment
87-01 subject to the City Council adoption of:
A. General Plan Amendment 87-03B; and
B. Foothill Boulevard Specific Plan.
2. That the subject property is suitable for the uses permitted in
the proposed Foothill Boulevard Specific Plan in terms of access,
size, and compatibility with existing land use in the surrounding
area; and
3. That the proposed district change would not have significant
impact on the environment, nor the surrounding properties; and
4. That the proposed district change is in conformance with the
General Plan.
SECTION 2: The Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission has found that
this project will not create a significant adverse impact on the environment
and recommends issuance of a Negative Declaration on July 22, I987,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the City Council adopted General Plan Amendment 87-03B and
the Foothill Boulevard Specific Plan on September 16, 1987.

2. That the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has held a
public hearing in the time and manner prescribed by law and duly
heard and has determined that the properties on the south side of
Foothill Boulevard between the 1-15 Freeway and Etiwanda Aven~e
as indicated on Exhibit "A" be deleted from the Industrial Are~
Specific Plan.
SECTION 3: The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk
shall cause the same to be published within fifteen (15) after its passage at
least once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of general circulation published in
the City of Ontario, California and circulated in the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
Cal ifornia.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1987.

meeting of the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga held on the 7th day
of October, 1987.
