ORDINANCE NO. :~78
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA', REVISING THE INDUSTRIAL SPECIFIC
PLAN TEXT FOR .S.~UBANEAS 8 AND 13 (GENERAL INDUSTRIAL)
ADDING LAND USE'~'CDNSIDE~ATIONS RELATED TO PERFORMANCE
REQUIR~2~ENTS ~' OF 'T~E ' ADJOINING MINIMUM IMPACT/HEAVY
INDUSTEIAL CATEGORY (SUBAREA 9), AND EXISTING BUSINESSES
WHE~,~' the City Council has held a duly advertised public hearing
to consider all comments on the proposed Industrial Specific Plan Amendment
85-0~;
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamon~a City Council hereby makes the
following findings:
A. The Amendment does not conflict with Policies of the
General Plan .and Industrial Specific Plan.
B.The Amendment promotes goals of the Land Use Element
and Industrial Specific Plan.
C. The Amendment would not be materially injurious or
detrimental to the .adjacent properties.
SECTION 2: The following Special Consideration shall be added to
the Industrial Specific Plan Text for Subareas 8 and 13:
Class C Performance Standards of the adjoining Minimum
Impact/Heavy Industrial:~area (Subarea 9), allow existing
businesses and future Industrial uses which produce
noise, particulate f ~at%er and .air contaminants,
vibration, odor, humidity, heat, glare or high
intensity. Uses sensitive to these conditions, such as
precision manufacturing or office projects, should
consider these factors prior to locating in the vicinity
of Minimum Impact/Heavy Industrial property.
SECTION 3: A Negative Declaration~is hereby adopted based upon the
completion and findings of the Initial Study.
SECTION 4: '.Tg.e.~MaY0r sh$~l s~]~his Ordinance and the City Clerk
shall cause the same "to be published within fifteen (15) days after its
passage at least once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of general circulation
published in the City of Ontarle, California, and circulated in the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, California. "-
