AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI%Y OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 10 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 70 BY ADDING SUB-SECTION (h) THERETO TO
PROHIBIT MATERIAL CH~RNGES ON PROPOSED LANDMARKS
UNTIL FINAL ACTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL.
The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California,
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 10 of Ordinance NO. 70 of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga is hereby amended by adding sub-section (h) thereto to
read as follows:
"(h) Except as otherwise provided
in Section 16 of this Ordinance, it shall
be unlawful for any person to carry out
or cause to be carried out a material
change on a proposed landmark until final
action of the City Council, denying the
proposed designation, is taken."
SECTION 2: The ~yor shall sign this Ordinance and the
City Clerk shall attest to the same, and the City Clerk shall cause the
same to be published within fifteen (15) days after its passage, at
least once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of general circulation,
published in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City
of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
