AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 8 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 30 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NOS. 69 AND 74 WHICH PERTAINS
TO THE FINANCING OF INTERIM SCHOOL FACILITIES, TO INCREASE
FEES THEREUNDER, AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE DEDICATION OF
LAND IN LIEU THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California,
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 8 of Ordinance No. 30 as amended by
Ordinance Nos. 69 and 74 of the £ity of Rancho Cucamonga, California~ are
hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 8: Amount of Fees and Time
of Payment.
"(a) When fees are required by this Ordinance such fees
shall be as follo~c~:
"(1) For ievelopment within the Alta Loma Elementarv
School District, $893.00 per single-family dwelling and $446.00
per mobile home space or each unit of a multiple-unit dwellin~
structure which contains two (2) or more bedrooms.
"(2) For development within the Central School
District, $908.0Q per single-family dwelling and $454.00 per
mobile home space or each unit of a multiple-unit dwelling
structure which contains two (2) or more bedrooms.
"(3) For development within the Cucamonga School
District, $700.00 per single-family dwelling and $350.00 per
mobile home space or each unit of a multiple-unit dwelling
structure which contains two (2) or more bedrooms.
"(4) For development within the Charley Joint ?nion
High School District, $600.00 per single-family dwelling and
$300.00 per mobile home space or each unit of a multiple-unit
dwelling structure which contains two (2) or more bedruoms.
"(b) Any room which is designated for sleeping which has
a closet is a bedroom for the purposes of this Ordinance.
"(c) The City Council mav require dedication of land in
lieu of fees, or a portion thereof, with respect to any subdivision
containing more than fifty (50) parcels."
"(d) When fees are required by t~is Ordinance, such fees
shall be paid at the time the building permit is approved and
issued. Fees shall be held in trust for the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, California, until transferred to the affected
school district or districts.
"(e) No disbursement shall be made to any school district
until such district has complied with Government Code Section
65976.
"(f) When a building permit is issued by an enforcing
agency other than the City, the fees required by this
Ordinance shall be paid directly to the City Building
Department and not to the enforcing agency."

SECTION 2: The F~yor shall sign this Ordinance and the
City Clerk shall attest to the same and the City Clerk shall cause the
same to be published within fifteen (15) days after its passage, at
least once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of general circulation
published in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in tile City
of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
