AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINanCE NO. 64 TO EXEMPT
MOBILE HOME PARKS FROM THE MORATORIUM ESTABLISHED BY
ORDINANCE NO. 64, AND DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California,
does ordain as follows:
SECTION__l: Section 5 of Ordinance No. 64 is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 5: The City shall not accept for filing any
application or applications for director review or site
approval for apartments, condominiums or other multiple-
family dwellings, provided, however, that this section shall
not apply to any such application or applications for mobile
home parks.".
SECTION 2: This Ordinance is hereby declared an urgency
measure necessary for the immediate protection and preservation of
the public peace, health, safety, and welfare for the reasons stated
in Ordinance No. 64 and shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
SECTION 3: The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the
City Clerk shall attest to the same, and the City Clerk shall cause the
same to be published within fifteen (15) days after its passage, at
least once in The Daily Report, a oewspaper of general circulation
published in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City
of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 16th day of May, 1979.
