AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CUCAMONGA, CALIFOtLNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 8 WU!CU
WHICH PERTAINS TO A PARK AND RECREATION TAX FOR NEW
RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT.
The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California,
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 5 of Ordinance No. 8 of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, California, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 5. Tax: When Payable.
The Tax imposed by this Ordi-
nance shall be due and payable
upon issnance of a building permit
and shall be refunded only in the
event that the building permit is-
sued has expired and no construc-
tion has been comm~nced. In the
event the building permit is is-
sued bv an enforcing agency nther
than the City, the amount ol" the
tax shall be paid directly to the
City Building Department and not
to the enforcing agency."
SECTION 2: The ~layor shall sign this Ordinance and the, City
Clerk shall attest to the same and the City Clerk shall cause, the same
to be published within fifteen (15) davs att~,r its passage, at least
once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of general circulation, published
in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in tile City c~f Rancb~
Cucamon~a, California.
