AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING ORDINANCE NO. 45 PER-
TAINING TO INTERIM ZONING FOR ADULT BUSINESSES ~ND DECLAR-
ING THE URGENCY THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California,
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council finds and determines that there
has been inadequate time for the Planning Commission to complete studies
concerning appropriate regulations for adult businesses, and that the
term of Ordinance No. 45 should be extended.
SECTION 2: Section 5 of Ordinance No. 45 of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, California, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall
remain in effect until August 1,
1979, and during such period, all
ordinances inconsistent with the
prov£sions hereof shall be sus-
pended and superseded by this Ordi-
SECTION 3: The City Council does herebv find and declare
that this Ordinance is for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, health and safety, and it shall take effect immediatelv upon
its adoption as an urgency ordinance.
SECTION 4: The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City
Clerk shall attest to the same, and the City Clerk shall cause the
same to be pu~lished within fifteen (15) days after its passage, at
least once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of general circu]~ ~n,
published in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 15th dav of January, 1979.
