HomeMy WebLinkAbout45-B - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. 45B AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING ORDINANCE NO. 45 PERTAINING TO INTERIM ZONING FOR ADULT BUSINESSES AND DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, does ordain as follows: SECTION 1: The City Council finds and determines that there has been inadequate time for the Planning Commission to complete studies concerning appropriate regulations for adult businesses, and that the term of Ordinance No. 45 should be extended. SECTION 2: Section 5 of Ordinance No. 45, as amended by Ordi- nance No. 45A, of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall remain in effect until December 31, 1980, and during such period, all ordinances incon- sistent with the provisions hereof shall be suspended and superseded by this Ordinance." SECTION 3: The City Council does hereby find and declare that this Ordinance is for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and it shall take effect immediately upon its adoption as an urgency ordinance. SECTION 4: The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk shall attest to the same, and the City Clerk shall cause the same to be published within fifteen (15) days after its passage, at least once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
