HomeMy WebLinkAbout45-A - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. 45A AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI%Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING ORDINANCE NO. 45 PER- TAINING TO INTERIM ZONING FOR ADULT BUSINESSES AND DECiARING THE URGENCY THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, does ordain as follows: SECTION 1: The City Council finds and determines that there has been inadequate time for the Planning Commission to complete studies concerning appropriate regulations for adult businesses, and that the term of Ordinance No. 45 should be extended. SECTION 2: Section 5 of Ordinance No. 45 of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall remain in effect until February 1, 1980, and during such period, all ordinances inconsistent with the provisions hereof shall be suspended and superseded by ~his Ordinance.". SECTION 3: The City Council does hereby find and declare that this Ordinance is for the immediate preservatinn of the public peace, health and safety, and it shall take effect immediatelv upon its ademption as an urgency ordinance. SECTION 4: The Mayor sisal] sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk shall attest to the same, and the City Clerk shall cause the same to be published within fifteen (15) days after ~ts passage, at least once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of ~eneral ~'irculation published in the City of Ontario, California, and cirt'ulated in the C~ty of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
