HomeMy WebLinkAbout41 - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO, 41 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF ORDINANCE NOS. 27, 34, AND 35 AND OTHER ORDINANCE OF THE CITY HERETOFORE OR HEREAFTER ADOPTED W~EREIN NO SPECIFIC PENALTY PROVISIONS ARE SET FORTH, AND DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, does ordain as follows: SECTION 1: Any act or omission declared unlawful by the provisions of Ordinance Nos. 27, 34, and 35 of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, is an infraction punishable by fine of twenty-five ($25.00) dollars. SECTION 2: Except in cases where a different punishment is ~rescribed by ordinance of this City, every person who violates any provision of, fails to comply with any of the mandatory requirements of, or does any act declared unlawful by the provisions of any ordinance of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, heretofore or hereafter adopted, is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be punishable by fine of not more than Five Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($500.00), or imprisonment for a period not exceeding six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. SECTION 3: The City Council does hereby find and declare that this Ordinance is for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health or safety, and shall take effect immediately upon its adoption as an urgency ordinance.
