HomeMy WebLinkAbout34 - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. 34 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, RESTRICTING PARKING ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, does ordain as follows: SECTION 1: It shall be unlawful for any person to park, or cause to be parked, any vehicle upon any privately owned property in the City without the consent of the owner, tenant, or other person entitled to possession of such property. SECTION 2: It shall be unlawful for the owner of any vehicle to allow such vehicle to be parked upon any privately owned property in the City without the consent of the owner, tenant, or other person entitled to possession of such property. SECTION 3: For the purposes of this Ordinance there shall be a presumption of lack of consent when all of the following conditions exist: a. The vehicle is not owned by or leased to the owner, tenant or other person entitled to possession of the property. b. The vehicle is a motor truck, trailer, or combination thereof. c. The vehicle is parked on the property for more than one (1) consecutive hour between the hours of 10:00 p.m. on one day and 6:00 a.m. on the following day. SECTION 4: All words and phrases used in this Ordinance which are defined in the Vehicle Code of the State of California shall have the same meaning in this Ordinance as they have in the Vehicle Code.
