AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A PURCHASING
SYSTEM
The Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1.

The City of Rancho Cucamonga purchasing system, as set forth in
CHAPTER 3.08 of the RANCHO CUCAMONGA MUNICIPAL
CODE, EXHIBIT "A" hereto, hereby is designated, and incorporated
by reference, as the purchasing system applicable to the Rancho
Cucamonga Fire Protection District, subject to the following
modifications:
The term "City", wherever used in Chapter 3.08 of the Rancho Cucamonga
Municipal Code, shall mean and referto the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection
District.
The term "City Manager", wherever used in Chapter 3.08 of the Rancho
Cucamonga Municipal Code, shall mean and refer to that employee or officer
designated to perform the functions of the City Manager, as specified in said
Chapter.
The term "Purchasing Manager", wherever used in Chapter 3.08 of the Rancho
Cucamonga Municipal Code, shall mean and refer to the employee or officer
designated by the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District to administer
and/or enforce provisions of the purchasing system hereby adopted.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall not become effective until City of Rancho
Cucamonga Ordinance 328B becomes effective.
SECTION 3.
The secretary of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District
shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the
same to be published as required by law.

District, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the
Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District held on the 1st day of April,
1998 and was finally passed at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Rancho
Cucamonga Fire Protection District held on the 15th day of April, 1998.
