AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA AMENDING CHAPTER 9.30 OF THE
RANCHO CUCAMONGA MUNICIPAL CODE AND REVISING
DAYTIME CURFEW REGULATIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Section 9.30.020 of Chapter 9.30 of the Rancho Cucamonga
Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition of new
subsections "E" and "F" to read as follows:
"E. When the minor is receiving home or private
school instruction pursuant to Education Code
Section 48222, or is receiving instruction by a
qualified tutor pursuant to Education Code Section
48224, or is otherwise exempt by law from
attendance at a public or private full-time day school;
or
"F. When the minor is authorized to be absent from
his or her school pursuant to the provisions of
Education Code Section 48205, or any other
applicable State or federal law."
SECTION 2. Severability. The City Council declares that, should any
provision, section, paragraph, sentence or word of this
Ordinance be rendered or declared invalid by any final court
action in a court of competent jurisdiction, or by reason of
any preemptive legislation, the remaining provisions,
sections, paragraphs, sentences and words of this
Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance
and shall cause the same to be published in the manner
prescribed by law.
