any street not a state highway.
(ii) ~he City Traffic Engineer b~ c~tucted an engineering ar~
traffic mEvey, of certain streets within the City of Rarrho O_~wrm~?_~ which
streets as specified in Part B of this Ordinance.
(iii) The determinations ccecern/n~ prima facie ~ l{m~te set
forth in Part B, bel~, are based u~n the engineerin~ and traffic survey
identified in Section A (ii), ~Dve.

(i) Both sixty-five (65) miles per h~ur and fifty-five (55) miles
per hour are speeds whicil are more than are reasonable or safe; and
(ii) The miles per hour as stated are the prima facie speeds which
are most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic and are
speed limits which are reasomble and safe on said streets or portions
thereof; and
(iii) ~ miles per hour stated are hereby declared to be the prima
facie slDccd limits on said streets; and
(iv) The Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to
install appropriate signs upon said streets giving notice of the prima facie
spccd limit declared herein.
Section 2
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinanoe and
Section 3
~he Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk shall cause
the same to be published within fifteen (15) days after its passage at least
o~oe in The Inland valley Daily BulletLn, a newspaper of general circulation
published in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of
PASSED, ~, and ADOPlOD tbi.~ 16th day of F-P~uary, 1994.
