(i) O~ Segce~]Der 22, 1993, the P~ Cka~ion Of the City of
Rancho O~mnnga conducted a duly noticed public hearing with respect to the
above-referenced Sign CTdinance ~,v~nt. Following the cc~clusic~ of said
public hearing, the Planning Ccmm~issic~ adcptad Resolutic~ No. 93-80, thereby
~ that the City Council adopt Sign 0zdjnanoe Amerament No. 93-01.
(ii) On November 17, 1993, the City Council of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga c~nducted a duly noticed public hearing and concluded said hearing
prior to its adoption of this ordinance.
(iii) All legal prerequisites prior to the adoption of this

The City Oouncil of the City of Rancho O~_mnnga does hereby ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 14.08.281 is hereby added to Chapter 14.08 to
read as follcws, and all sukeequent sectiotas are renLm~0ered accordingly:
14.080.281 Project Identification Siqn: "Project identification
sign" m~ens a sign which identifies, in words and/or gra~c logo, the theme
name of a develc[mBnt.
SECTION 2: Section 14.20.100, subsection 2. Business identification
figures, as shown in the attached Exhibit "A."
S~CTION 3: This Council finds and determines that the project
identified above in this Ordinance is exempt frcn the ~ of the
California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended, and the Guidelines
prumulgated thereunder, pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the State CB3A
S~CT/0N 4: The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk
shall cause the same to be published within fifteen (15) days after its
passage at least once in the Inland Valley Deily Bulletin, a newspaper of
general circulation in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
