ordain as follows:
SEUTICN 1: S1~'T~C~ 3. O8.O9O of the Rancho ~ Municipal
Code is hereb~ amended to add a new Subsection 3.08,090(F), to be read, in
words ara figures, as follows: -
"F. If a pr~ purdlase involves goods, equipnent cr
products of a unique and cuepie/design and/ur mast be manufactured cr
~mbl~ to the par~n~ nz~s of the City, the purc~sing agent may, in
place of formal bidd/ng ~rocedures, institute ~ by a process of
cr her designee must approve of such purca~-~ing procedure and purchases. ,,
SECTI(~{ 2: ~he City Council declaree that should any
declared invalid by any final court action in a o~urt of cc~
jurisdiction, or by reason of any pre-emptive legislation, the remainirg
provisions, sections, sentences and wurds of this Ordinance shall remain in
full force and effect regardless of such court action or legislation.
SECTION 3: Ihe City Clerk shall certify to the adopticn of
this Ordinance and cause the s~m to be published within fifteen (15) days
after its passage at least once in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, a
newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Ontario, California,
and circulated in the City of Rancho O~_~nga, California.
