Home My WebLink About488 - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. 488 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING INDUSTRIAL ARFA SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMEIqT 92-01, AMENDING FIGURE II-7, AND FIGURES IV-I' THROUGH IV-19, ~ING CERTAIN TRAIL ROUTES AND MAKING FI]qDINGS IN SUPPORT THERtDF A. Recitals. (i) On January 22, 1992, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga conducted a duly noticed public hearing with respect to the above-referenced Development District Amendment. Following the conclusion of said public hearing, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 92-15, thereby recunu~ending that the City Council adopt Industrial Are Specific Plan Amendment No. 92-01. (ii) On March 18, 1992, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga conducted a duly noticed public hearing and concluded said hearing prior to its adoption of this ordinance. ( iii ) All legal prerequisites prior to the adoption of this Ordinance have occurred. B. Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucan~nga does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1: This Council hereby specifies and finds that all of the facts set forth in the Recitals, Part A, of this Ordinance are true and SECTION 2: This Council hereby finds and certifies that the project has been revised and considered in compliance with the California Environmen- tal Quality Act of 1970, and further, this Council hereby issues a Negative Declaration. SECTION 3: The Rancho Cucamonga City Council finds as follows: a. The subject property is suitable for the uses permitted in the proposed district in terms of access, size, and compatibility with existing land use in the surrounding area; and b. The proposed District change would not have significant adverse impacts on the environment nor the surrounding properties; and co The proposed amendment is in conformance with the General Plan. SECTION 4: The City Council of the City of Rancho CucanxDnga hereby approves Industrial Area Specific Plan Amendment No. 92-01, modifying Figure II-7 as shown in the attached Exhibit "A"; and modifying the related Subarea maps, Figures IV-1 through IV-19, as shown in the attached Exhibit "B". Ordinance No. 488 Page 2 SECTION 5: The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk shall cause the same to be published within fifteen (15) days after its passage at least once in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
