AFTER VERIFICATION, ALL CONSTRUCTION MUST PROCEED FROM DOWNSTREAM TO UPSTREAM TERMINUS, ANY CHANGE IN GRADE MUST BE PROPOSED BY THE CONTRACTOR AND APPROVED BY THE ENGINEER PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. 12. ALL P.C.C. REMOVALS SHALL BE SAWCUT. 13. DESIGN OF THE R.C.P. SHOWN ON THE CONTRACT DRAWINGS IS BASED ON THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE PIPE WILL BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA STANDARDS. FINAL FRAME SEATING SHALL BE 1/8 INCH BELOW ASPHALT SURFACE. 16. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL WATER MAIN P.C.C. THRUST BLOCKS THAT INTERFERE WITH CONSTRUCTION AND REPLACE SAME PER CUCAMONGA VALLEY WATER DISTRICT STANDARDS AT NO COST TO THE CITY. 17. ESTIMATE OF QUANTITIES IS PROVIDED BY THE ENGINEER ONLY FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THE CONTRACTOR. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAKE HIS OWN DETERMINATION OF CONSTRUCTION QUANTITIES BEFORE SUBMITTING A BID.
