All work shall be done in strict accordance with the current City of Ontario Standard Specifications and Standard Drawings. 2. Any contractor performing work on this project shall familiarize him- self with the site and shall be solely responsible for any damage to existing facilities resulting directly or indirectly from his operations, whether or not shown on these plans. 3. All obstructions within the area to be improved are to be removed or relocated as shown on the plans and at the direction of the City Engineer. Utilities are to be relocated by their respective owners. The Contractor is referred to Section 5 of the Standard Specifica- tions. 4. Utility line locations were taken from records and were not located in the field. The contractor is referred to Section 5 of the Standard Specifications. All locations are approximate and the Contractor shall make appropriate arrangements for the protection of utilities. 5. In case of any accidents involving safety matters covered by Section 6424 of the California Labor Code, the Contractor shall immediately notify the State Division of Industrial Safety. 6. Call Underground Service Alert 48 hours before digging to request any underground locating (800) 422-4133. 7. The Contractor shall obtain a traffic control permit 48 hours prior to the time of construction within the public right-of-way.
