II. NEW BUSINESS A. Engineering Plans for Trail Section from Amethyst Avenue to Hellman Avenue Action: After the Staff presentation and questions,the Committee consensus was as follows: 1. The City Engineering Staff should be commended for the job that was accomplished with the Banyan Trail construction between Archibald Avenue and Amethyst Avenue. 2. The shifting of the trail to the south side of Banyan Street was problematic based on the existing sidewalk policy and from a safety perspective. 3. Per Mr. Dyer's direction, the Engineering Staff will take a look at the north side again using similar design adjustments that were used on the previous section of the Banyan Trail; a revised design will be brought back to the Committee in November or December. III. PUBLIC COMMUNICATION None received. IV.
