AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCMO
CUCAMDNGA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
MAP FROM OFFICE/PROFESSIONAL (OP) TO NEIGHBORHOOD
COMMERCIAL (NC) FOR 3.58 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED AT THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BASE LINE ROAD AND HELLMAN AVENUE -

WHEREAS, on the 27th day of January, 1988, the Planning Commission
held a duly advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 65854 of the
California Government Code to consider Development District Amendment No. 8711
and recommended to the City Council denial of a change in the district
designation from Office/Professional (OP) to Neighborhood Commercial (NC) for
the property located at the southwest corner of Base Line Road and Hellman
Avenue.
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of May, 1988, the City Council held a duly
advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 65854 of the California
Government Code to consider the Planning Commission recommendation and public
input on the Development District Amendment 87-11.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California
does ordain as follows:

SECTION 2: The Rancho Cucamonga City Council has found that this
project will not create a significant adverse impact on the environment and
approves the issuance of a Negative Declaration on June 1, 1988.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

That pursuant to Section 65850 to 65855 of the
California Government Code, that the City Council of
the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby approves on the
1st day of June 11, 1988, Development District
Amendment 87-03, changing the district designation
from Office/Professional (OP) to Neighborhood
Commercial (NC) for the property located at the
southwest corner of Base Line Road and Hel lman
Ave hue.
SECTION 3: The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk
shall cause the same to be published within fifteen (15) days after its passage
at least once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of general circulation published
in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, California.

of the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga held on the 15th day of
June, 1988.
