ALL WORK SHALL CONFORM TO THE 2015 EDITION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (CAL TRANSA STANDARD PLANS, 2015 EDITION STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS, 2014 CALIFORNIA MANUAL ON UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES (CAMIUTCD), CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA STANDARD PLANS, AND SPECIAL PROVISIONS. SPECIAL PROVISIONS WILL BE PROVIDED TO CONTRACTOR UPON REQUEST. 2. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFICATION OF ALL EXISTING UNDERGROUND UTILITIES, WHETHER OR NOT THEY ARE SHOWN ON THESE PLANS. THE CONTRACTOR E SHALL CONTACT USA (800-642-2444) AT LEAST 48 HOUR RE B: GINNI S BEFONG WORK, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL POTHOLE ALL PROPOSED TRAFFIC SIGNAL LOCATIONS TO VERIFY,/CONFIRM EXISTING UNDERGROUND UTILITIES, PRIOR TO ORDERING TRAFFIC SIGNAL EQUIPMENT. 3, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL 01BTAIN ALL NECESSARY PERMITS AND NOTIFY ALL AFFECTED AGENCIES AND UTILITY COMPANIES A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS PRIOR TO START OF CONSTRUCTION. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR NOTIFYING ALL UTILITY AND IRRIGATION COMPANIES PRIOR TO WORK ON EXCAVATION TO DETERMINE EXACT LOCATION OF ALL LINES AFFECTING THIS WORK, WHETHER OR NOT SHOWN HEREON, AND FOR ANY DAMAGE OR PROTECTION OF THESE LINES. 4. EXISTING IMPROVEMENTS, INCLUDING SUBSTRUCTURES THAT ARE DAMAGED BY THE CONTRACTOR, WHICH ARE NOT DESIGNATED BY THE PLANS OR SPECIFICATIONS TO BE DISTURBED, SHALL BE �RESTORED OR REPAIRED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE ENGINEER AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE. 5. ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING SIGNAL POLES AND SERVICE/CO,NTROLLER CABINETS, ARE SHOWNI IN APPROXIMATE LOCATIONS ONLY. PROPOSED FINAL LOCATIONS ARE TO BE APPROVED IN THE FIELD BY THE ENGINEER PRIOR TO EXCAVATION FOR FOUNDATIONS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL GIVE 48 HOURS NOTICE FOR APPROVAL OF PROPOSED EQUIPMENT LOCATIONS. 6. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA ENGINEER'S OFFICE FOR APPROVAL 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ANTICIPATED ENERGIZING OF THE NEW SIGNAL EQUIPMENT. 7. CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT TO THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL A TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN FOR SIGNAL CONSTRUCTION (INCLUDE WORK HOURS, DATE, LANE CLOSURE, AND PEDESTRIAN AND VEHICLE TRAFFIC CONTROL). ANY TRAFFIC SIGNAL SHUT DOWN AS REQUIRED FOR ALTERATION TO ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SHALL BE LIMITED TO WEEKENDS OR LATE NIGHT ON WEEKDAYS (11:00 PM TO 5:00 AM).
