• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA,CALIFORNIA,SUMMARILY ORDERING
THE VACATION OF EXCESS RIGHT-OF-WAY AT THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF CENTER AVENUE AND 25TH STREET
WHEREAS,by Chapter 4,Article 1, Section 8331, of the Streets and Highway Code,
the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga is authorized to summarily vacate the excess
right-of-way at the southwest corner of the intersection of Center Avenue and 25`h Street; and;
WHEREAS, the City Council found by all the evidence submitted that the excess
right-of-way is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes, it has not been used
for more than five (5) consecutive years ana no public money was expended for maintenance of
same; and
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
makes its order vacating the excess right-of-way at the southwest
corner of the intersection of Center Avenue and 25t' Street, as
described in Exhibit"A"and shown on Exhibit"B".
• SECTION 2: That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution and
exhibits to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San
Bernardino County, California.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this
resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of October 2001.
