HomeMy WebLinkAbout273 - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. 273 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFOP, NIA, ADOPTING ET1-WANDA SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMENT 85-01, AMENDING FIGURE 5-18, "COMMUNITY TRAILS", & FIGURE 5-19, "PEDESTRIAN TRAILS & SIDEWALKS", BY EXTENDING THE EQUESTRIAN TRAIL ALONG TEE EAST SIDE OF ETrv~A~?DA AVENUE SOUTHERLY TO HIGHLAND AVENUE, & BY THE ESTABLISf~ENT OF A NE~ EQUESTRIAN TRAIL CONNECTION TO THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD RIG itT-OF-WAY ALONG TIlE EAST PERIMETER OF THE VICTORIA PLANNED COMMUNITY The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, does ordain as follows: SECTION l: The City Council hereby finds and determines the following: A. That the Plannin~ Comnission of the City of Rancho Cucamon~a, following a public hearing held in the time and manner prescribed by la~, recommends the A~endment to Figure 5-18, "Com~niCy Trails", and Figure 5-19, "Pedestrian Trails and Sidewalks", of the Etivanda Specific Plan as hereinafter described, and this City Council has held a public hearing in the time and manner prescribed by la~ and duly heard and considered said recome~ndation. B. That Chis Specific Plan Amendment is consistent with the General Plan of the City of Rancho Cucamonga. C.That this Amendment is consistent with the objectives of the Etiwanda Specific Plan. D. This Specific Plan Amendment will have no significant enwironmental impact as provided in the Negative Declaration filed herein. SECTION 2: Figure 5-18, "Community Trails", of the ECiwanda Specific Plan is hereby amended as shown in the attached Exhibit "A", and Figure 5-19, "Pedestrian Trails and Sidewalks" of the Etiwanda Specific Plan is hereby amended as shown in the attached Exhibit "B". SECTION 3: The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk shall cause the same to be published within fifteen (15) days after its passage at least once in ~, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
