A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, SUMMARILY
ORDERING THE VACATION OF EXCESS STREET RIGHT-OF-
WAY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF INDUSTRIAL LANE
SOUTH OF FERON BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, by Chapter 4, Article 1, Section 8331, of the Streets and Highways
Code, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga is authorized to summarily vacate the
excess street right-of-way located on the west wide of industrial Lane, south of Feron
Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the City Council found by all the evidence submitted that the excess
right-of-way is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes, it has not been
used for more than five (5) consecutive years and no public money was expended for
maintenance of same; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
resolves as follows:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby makes its order vacating the
excess right-of-way located on the west side of Industrial
Lane, south of Feron Boulevard, as described in Exhibit "A"
and shown on Exhibit "B".
SECTION 2: That from and after the date the resolution is recorded,
said excess right-of-way no longer constitute a street or
public utility easement.
SECTION 3: That the subject vacation shall be subject to the
reservations and exceptions, if any, for existing utilities on
record.
SECTION 4: That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of San Bernardino County, California.
SECTION 5: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution, and it shall thereupon take
effect and be in force.

Request for vacation of a portion of an easement for street, highway and related
purposes in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, County of San Bernardino, State of
California, described as Parcel 1 of said easement recorded in Book 9388, Page
1643, of Official Records of said County, lying within the following described property:
A portion of the south half of the southeast quarter of Section 10, Township 1 South,
Range 7 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the southwest comer of said southeast quarter; thence 1495.80 feet
south 65'43'32" east; thence north 0'16' 28"east 180.00 feet; thence north 8S'43'
32" west 50.00 feet; thence north 0'16' 28" east 487.00 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence south 89P43'32' east 266.20 feet, more or less, to the west line of
the land described in deed to Geo. J. Davies and wife, recorded December 10, 1929,
in Book 569, Page 74, Official Records of said County; thence south 0016'2W west
along said west line 182.00 feet, more or less, to the northeast corner of land
described in deed conveyed to Tony Sciacca recorded January 22, 1925, in Book 879,
Page 363 of Deeds of said County; thence north 89043' 32" west 266.20 feet; thence
north 0016' 28" east to the true point of beginning.
