A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA,CALIFORNIA,SUMMARILY ORDERING
THE VACATION OF EXCESS RIGHT-OF-WAY AT THE
SOUTHWEST SIDE OF THE KNUCKLE INTERSECTION OF
MALVERN AVENUE AND SALINA STREET
WHEREAS,by Chapter 4,Article 1, Section 8330,of the Streets and Highway Code,
the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga is authorized to summarily vacate the excess
right-of-way at the southwest side of the knuckle intersection of Malvern Avenue and Salina Street;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council found by all the evidence submitted that the excess
right-of-way is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes, it has not been used
for more than five (5) consecutive years and no public money was expended for maintenance of
same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga as follows:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
makes its order vacating excess right-of-way at the southwest side of
the knuckle intersection of Malvern Avenue and Salina Street, as
described in Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit"B".
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be
recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino
County, California.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this
resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.

That portion of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 11,Township 1 South,Range 7 West,in the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
County of San Bernardino,State of California as shown on the map of Cucamonga Lands
recorded in Book 4,Page 9 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly line of Tract No. 5347 as per map recorded
in Book 66,Pages 11 and 12 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County
with the southerly line of Salina Street,60.00 feet wide;thence along said southerly line
of Salina Street South 8904211"West 133.83 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave to the northeast having a radius of 69 feet,said curve also being tangent to the
westerly line of Malvern Avenue,66.00 feet wide,as conveyed to the Comity of San
