CALL TO ORDER A regular meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District was held on Wednesday, July 3, 2002 in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by President William J. Alexander. Present were Boardmembers: Paul Biane, Grace Curatalo, Bob Dutton, Diane Williams and President William J. Alexander. Also present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; James Markman, City Attorney; Linda Daniels, Redevelopment Agency Director; Kevin McArdle, Community Services Director; Paula Pachon, Management Analyst III; Dave Moore, Recreation Superintendent; Eric Jensen, Recreation Coordinator; Joe O'Neil, City Engineer; Brad Buller, City Planner; Joe Kamrani, Sr. Information Systems Analyst; Michael Toy, Information Systems Specialist; Peter Bryan, Battalion Chief, Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District; Captain Pete Ortiz, Police Department; Kimberly Thomas, Management Analyst II; Kathy Scott, Deputy City Clerk; and Debra J. Adams, Secretary. B. ANNOUNCEMENTS/PRESENTATIONS No announcements/presentations were made. C. COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC No communication was made from the public. D. CONSENT CALENDAR JACK LAM, CITY MANAGER, STATED THERE IS A CORRECTION ON THE PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR ITEM D4 AS OUTLINED IN THE MEMO ON FILE IN THE CITY CLERK'S OFFICE. DI. Approval of General Fund 01 Net Monthly Expenditure Report for May 2002, in the amount of $1,114,805.03. D2. Approval of Mello-Roos CFD 85-01 Fund 02 Net Monthly Expenditure Report for May 2002, in the amount of $386,515,65. D3. Approval of Mello-Roos CFD 88-01 Fund 03 Net Monthly Expenditure Report for May 2002, in the amount of $35.00. D4. Approval to adopt a Resolution of Intention to annex territory referred to as Annexation No. 02-1 into Community Facilities District No. 85-1, specifying facilities and services provided, to set and specify the special taxes to be levied within the annexation and set a time and place for a public hearing related to the annexation. FD 02-011 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, ACTING AS THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO AUTHORIZE THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1 D5. Approval to adopt a boundary map showing properly within Tract 16189 (American Pacific Homes) to be annexed into CFD No. 85-1. RESOLUTION NO. FD 02-012 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, ACTING AS THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1, ADOPTING A BOUNDARY MAP SHOWING PROPERTY TO BE ANNEXED TO COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1 D6. Approval of Resolution authorizing the destruction of Fire District Records pursuant to California Government Code Section 34090, the District's Records Retention Schedule, and other applicable legal citations. RESOLUTION NO. 02-013 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF DISTRICT RECORDS WHICH ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED AS SET FORTH IN CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 34090 AND OTHER APPLICABLE LEGAL REFERENCES MOTION: Moved by Dutton, seconded by Williams to approve the staff recommendations in the staff reports contained within the Consent Calendar as corrected. Motion carried unanimously 5-0. E. IDENTIFICATION OF ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING No items were identified for the next meeting. F. ADJOURNMENT MOTION: Moved by Curatalo, seconded by Williams to adjourn.
