FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT MINUTES
Regular Meeting
A. CALLTO ORDER
A regular meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District was held on Wednesday, June 19,
2002 in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho
Cucamonga, California. The meeting was called to order at 7:06 p.m. by President William J. Alexander.
Present were Boardmembers: Paul Biane, Grace Curatalo, Bob Dutton, Diane Williams and President
William J. Alexander.
Aisc present were: Jack Lam, City Manager; James Markman, City Attorney; Linda Daniels,
Redevelopment Agency Director; Valerie Zuniga, Office Specialist II - RDA; Kevin McArdle, Community
Services Director; Paula Pachon, Management Analyst III; Joe O'Neil, City Engineer; Brad Buller, City
Planner; Nancy Fong, Sr. Planner; Jerry Grant, Building Official; Larry Temple, Administrative Services
Director; Ingrid Bruce, GIS/Special Districts Supervisor; Erich List, GIS Analyst; Sid Siphomsay,

D. CONSENT CALENDAR
D1. Approval of Minutes: May 15, 2002
D2. Approval to receive and file current Investment Schedule as of May 31,2002.
D3. Approval to execute an Agreement with San Bernardino County Flood Control District to extend the
term of the existing lease an additional five years for real property located at 12158 Base Line Road on
which Fire Station No. 173 is currently located and operating.
D4. Approval of a Resolution approving records retention schedule for the Fire Protection District.

A RESOLUTION QF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO
CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING RECORDS RETENTION SCHEDULES
MOTION: Moved by Dutton, seconded by Williams to approve the staff recommendations in the staff
reports contained within the Consent Calendar. Motion carried unanimously 5-0.
E. CONSENT ORDINANCES
El. SECOND READING OF AN ORDINANCE CONTINUING THE ANNUAL SPECIAL TAX RATES
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002/03 IN MELLO ROOS COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 85-1

SPECIAL TAX IN MELLO-ROOS COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT
NO. 85-1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002/03
MOTION: Moved by Biane, seconded by Curatalo to waive full reading and approve Ordinance No. FD
38. Motion carried unanimously 5-0.

MOTION: Moved by Dutton, seconded by Williams to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously 5-0. The
