A RESOLUTION OF ~ CITY OOUNCIL OF qliE CITY OF RANCS0

~EAS, a special n~nicipal election is to be held in the City of
P~ancho Cuca~ on November 3, 1992, at which time there will be su~~ to
the qualified electors of the City the following question:
"Shall the term of office of Mayor be four years?"
NOW, ~~, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve, declare, det~ ~ cxder as follows:
SECTION 1: ~hat this City Council, being the legislative body of the
City of Rancho ~, authorizes:
Diane Williams
members of that body, to file a written argument in favor of the city measure
set fcxTh in the recitals hereof in aocordanoe with Article 4, Chapter 3,
Division 5 of the Electior~ Oode of the State of California and to change the
argument until and includ/ng the date fixed by the City Clerk after which no
arguments for or against the City measure may be su~tted to the City Clerk.
