A RES~I.UTION OF TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, DENYING ENVIRONMENTAL A~SESSMENT AND
DEV~/.OPMENT DISTRICT AMENDMENT NO. 86-03, THE (LURMAN
COMPANY, REQUESTING A CHANGE IN THE DISTRICT DESIGNATION
FROM MEDIDM (M) TO NEIGRSORHOOD CO~{ERCIAL (NC) FOR 10.7
ACRES OF LAND LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF RIG~-AND
AVENUE AND HAVEN AVENUE - Alii 201-262-28, 30, 31, 36, 37,
60, 41, 43
I¢I1EREAS, on the 17th day of July, 1986 an application was filed and
accepted on the above-described project; and
WREREAS, on the 24th day of September, 1986, the Planning Commission
held a duly advertised public hearing pursuant to Section 65854 of the
California government Code; and
WBEREA~, tbs City Council held s duly advertised public hearing to
consider all comments on tbs proposed Development District Amendment No. 86-03.
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamongn City Council cannot make the
following findings:
1. That the sub}sci property is sultable for the uses
permitted in the proposed district in terms ..f access,
size, and compatibility with existing land uae in the
surrounding ares; and
2. That the proposed district change would not have
significant impact on the environment nor the
surrounding properties; and
3. That the proposed district change is in conformance
with the General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES(~VED, that the Rancho Cucamonga City
Council hereby denies Development District Amendment No. 86-03.
