The term of service is three years. This Committee reviews proposed development projects to advise the Planning Commission on the location and the design of trails. Briefly describe your riding experience (i.e., type of riding, miles per week, years of experience): Over 25 years of riding experience of Mountain Bike Riding. Currently, ride on the weekends utilizing the Pacific Electric Trail. Have ridden trails in the Cucamonga/San Dimas Canyon areas. Past member of the Sheriff's/Rancho Police Bicycle Team. 2. Why are you interested in serving on this Committee? I have lived in the City of Rancho Cucamonga for the past 16 years and have enjoyed the City and its dedication to the riding community. I would enjoy being involved in this project and getting more involved in the Bicycling Community. 3. What do you feel are the critical trail issues in Rancho Cucamonga? Whether riding dirt trails or on the Electric Pacific Trail you tend to find lack of markings. In trail riding you tend to do it on your own with truly no designated areas posted for trail rides in the city. Riding in the canyons you have lack of phone coverage in case of emergency, water, and bathroom. On the Pacific Trail you tend to find lack of signage to know where you are at. 4. List all the bicycling organizations you are actively involved in: Currently not involved in any bicycling organizations.
