Upon completion, the overall project (The Resort) will provide housing, offices and commercial land uses that will serve the existing land uses in the surrounding area and wider community. DRC Meeting •1st Meeting – 3/19/24 •Fencing and walls, building elevation articulation, shade structures over the courtside seating areas. •On-site bike racks. •DRC voted to recommend approval. •2nd Meeting - 5/07/24 •Consent Calendar •Single-story revised design, loss of one pickleball court Interdepartmental Review •The Fire, Engineering and Building Departments have reviewed the project and have provided conditions of approval. Environmental Project is consistent with all applicable General Plan policies. The project qualifies as an exemption under State CEQA Guidelines Section 15162 Public Notice Advertised in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin on May 10, 2024 Notices sent out to all property owners within 660 feet on May 8, 2024. To date, staff has not received any responses. Recommendation •Staff recommends that the Planning Commission adopt Resolution 24-16 approving Design Review 2023-00248, and to adopt Resolution 24-17 approving and Conditional Use Permit DRC2024-00151 subject to the attached Conditions of Approval.
