A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
RANCHO CUCAMONGA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT,COUNTY
OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, REPEALING
ALL PREVIOUS APPLICABLE PROCUREMENT SYSTEM
RESOLUTIONS AND ESTABLISHING UPDATED SIGNING AND
PURCHASING AUTHORITY LIMITS FOR CITY PERSONNEL
A. Recitals.
(i) Pursuant to Government Code Sections 37103, 53060, and 54201, and the
California Constitution,the City of Rancho Cucamonga has adopted a Purchasing System,
as set forth in Chapter 3.08 of Title 3 of the Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Code.
(ii) Chapter 3.08, referenced above, authorizes the City Council to establish, by
resolution, various monetary limits applicable to purchasing, including, but not limited to limits
governing:(a)informal and formal bidding; (b)procurements requiring no bidding;and procurement
authority applicable to particular City officers and employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection
District does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. This resolutions supersedes the provisions of all previous resolutions to the
extent any such provisions are inconsistent with the provisions herein.
Section 2. For the purpose of establishing Procurement Policy Limits for the City of
Rancho Cucamonga Procurement Division, the City Council does hereby adopt those monetary
limits attached hereto, marked as Exhibit"A", and incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 3. For the purpose of establishing Staff Signature Authority Limits, the City
Council does hereby adopt those monetary limits attached hereto, marked as Exhibit "A", and
incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 4. The signature authority limits, procurement bidding procedures and
thresholds and set forth herein shall take effect as of July 16, 2025.

City Manager will be as Set Forth in PCC Section 22032 in accordance with
the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting

In addition, rather than assigning other delegates lower levels of signature authority by resolution,
the City Manager will have the discretion to designate which staff members have what limits below
his/her authority.Any City Manager delegated limits will be documented and reviewed and updated
on a regular basis, as needed.The continuation of this practice will allow signature authorities to be
easily updated as titles and positions change in the organization,while maintaining the same level
of expenditure control.
