HomeMy WebLinkAbout2025-070 - Resolution RESOLUTION NO. 2025-070 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA,, ADOPTING THE MEASURE I FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR FY2025/2026 THROUGH FY2029/2030 WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved passage of Measure I in November 2004, authorizing the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority to impose a one-half of one percent retail transactions and use tax applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated territory of the County of San Bernardino; and WHEREAS, revenue from the tax can only be used for transportation improvement and traffic management programs authorized in the Expenditure Plans set forth in Ordinance No. 04- 01 of the Authority; and WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan requires each local jurisdiction applying for revenue from the Local Street Program to annually adopt and update a Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan; and WHEREAS,California Public Utilities Code 190300 and Ordinance No. 04-01 require each local jurisdiction to maintain General Fund expenditures for transportation-related construction and maintenance activities at the required Maintenance of Effort base year level in each fiscal year of the adopted Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan, which for the City of Rancho Cucamonga is $2,225,757. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA HERBY RESOLVES, that the Measure I Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan, attached to this resolution as Exhibit A, and the Measure I Capital Improvement Plan Expenditure Strategy — Fiscal Year 2025/26 thru 2029/30 (Exhibit B) are hereby adopted.
