Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and can confirm the content is safe. Hello Sophia, My name is Ruben Castaneda. I own the home located adjacent to 8930. My Wife (Karen), my Son (Ruben Jr.), and I have lived at our home located at 8916 Reales Street since January 2008. We love Rancho. I strongly approve of this new construction at 8930 Reales Street, Rancho Cucamonga for the following reasons: 1. That empty is a real fire hazard as it stands. Weeds and brush grow quickly. 2. Many rodents, snakes, tarantulas, squirrels, coyotes, bobcats, and even bears frequently jump our block wall and/or go through the wrought iron fence into our property, from that empty lot. 3. There is a giant woodpecker population in a tall rotting tree located on that empty lot. These woodpeckers peck and chip away at the wood trims at my home, and nearby homes. Replacing fascia boards on homes is very expensive. 4. If a new home were built, the aesthetics of our neighborhood would improve. 5. Reduced vandalism and burglaries. In June 2024, 5 young men gained access to my property by jumping my east side wall from the empty lot next door (8930 Reales), and they broke into my home. [Police report filed]. 1 I am well aware the building a new home entails noise, dust, construction crew trucks, cement trucks, construction workers, etc. But in the end, it will be worth it because this new construction represents a home, a new beginning for that empty lot's property owners. Plus, it also represents significant school fees to be paid to our school district, and of course, property taxes to be paid yearly. Therefore, my family and I totally support this new build. Please feel free to contact me at (626) 384- 1507 or email me at rcnpac(&aol.com, should you have any questions. Sincerely, Ruben Castaneda, P.A. 2
