CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA
CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
The City Council held a Special Meeting on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 in the Tri-Communities Conference
Room, 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. Mayor L. Dennis Michael called the meeting to
order at 4:00 p.m.
CALL TO ORDER
Present were Council Members: Ryan Hutchison, Kristine Scott, Ashley Stickler, Mayor Pro Tem Lynne Kennedy
and Mayor L. Dennis Michael.
Also present were John Gillison, City Manager; Elise Cox, Assistant City Manager; and Patricia Bravo-Valdez,
Deputy Director of City Clerk Services.
Council Member Scott led the Pledge of Allegiance.
A. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
None.
B. ITEMS OF DISCUSSION
B1. City Council Study Session: Route 66 100'h Anniversary/City's 500 Anniversary. (Verbal Report) (CITY)
City Manager Gillison introduced the item and Tanya Spiegel, Deputy Director of Economic Development,
Jennifer Camacho-Curtis, Community Affairs Officer, who presented on Route 66 100'h Anniversary and Nathan
Hunt, Deputy Director of Community Services, and Ted Morales, Community Services Superintendent, who
presented on the City's 50'h Anniversary.
Discussion ensued on the proposed campaign for Route 66 100'h Anniversary/City's 50'h Anniversary, including a
timeline of events, branding, marketing, and sponsorship opportunities. City Council to provide feedback and
highlight desired items as presented.
C. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Michael adjourned the meeting at 5:06 p.m.
