A. CALL TO ORDER
A 1. The City of Rancho Cucamonga Public Art Committee special meeting on Tuesday,December 2,2025,in the
Serrano Conference Room at City Hall,located at 10500 Civic Center Drive,Rancho Cucamonga,California.

C. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
This is the time and place for the general public to address the Public Art Committee on any item
listed on the agenda. State law prohibits the Public Art Committee from addressing any issue not
previously included on the Agenda. Public Art Committee may receive testimony and set the matter
for a subsequent meeting.Comments are to be limited to three minutes per individual.

D2.Verbal update on the Status of the Public Art Fund.
D3.Verbal update on current fiscal year public art projects and initiatives.

MEETING MINUTES September 2, 2025
At 5:30 p.m.
A. CALL TO ORDER
The City of Rancho Cucamonga Public Art Committee held a regular meeting on Tuesday,
September 2, 2025, in the Serrano Conference Room at City Hall, located at 10500 Civic Center
Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California.
Chair Leslie Matamoros called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m.
Present: Committee Members Bryan Dopp, Tina Gilfry, Leslie Matamoros, Ebony McGee
Andersen, Ilianna Salas
Also Present: Allison Town, Management Analyst I
B. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
No public communications were made.
C. COMMITTEE BUSINESS
C1. Consideration to approve the minutes of December 3, 2024 and June 3, 2025.
MOTION: Moved by Ebony McGee Andersen, seconded by Bryan Dopp to approve the meeting
minutes of December 3, 2024 and June 3, 2025. Motion carried 5-0 (AYES: Dopp, Gilfry, McGee
Anderson, Matamoros, and Salas. NOES: None.)
C2. Verbal update on the Status of the Public Art Fund.
MOTION: N/A
Allison Town provided an update on the status of the Public Art Fund balance.
C3. Verbal update on current fiscal year public art projects and initiatives.
MOTION: N/A
Allison Town provided an update on the Mini Mural Project.The project will cover four(4)
intersection locations:
1. Pacific Electric Trail @ Grove Avenue [one directional marker]
2. Pacific Electric Trail @ Amethyst Avenue [two directional markers]
3. Pacific Electric Trail @ Archibald Avenue [two directional markers]
4. Pacific Electric Trail @ Ramona Avenue [one directional marker]
Town also provided an update on the next round of the Utility Box Beautification Program.The
Call for Artists will launch January 6,2026.Application Submission Deadline: February 1,2026.
Town is working with Public Works to identify locations.
C4. Verbal update on the proposed projects for Fiscal Year 2026/2027.
MOTION: N/A
Town shared that City staff are beginning to plan for projects in FY 26/27, pulling inspiration
from the Creative Placemaking&Public Art Strategic Plan. Discussion centered on literary arts,
murals, and storm drain art.Committee members shared their interest in subsidized art
programs for students and small micro grants for local artists.Town also provided a reminder of
the upcoming Public Art Committee Recruitment starting in October.
C5.Verbal update on the next Public Art Committee meeting date.
MOTION: N/A
Allison Town informed the Public Art Committee that the next meeting would be held on
Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
D. ADJOURNMENT
Chair Leslie Matamoros adjourned the meeting at 6:18 p.m.
