BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho O,~mc~ga as
follows:
S~CION 1: That the City Council b~reby elects to proceed under
Section 8300, et. seq., of the Streets and Highways Oode, also known as the
Street Vacation ~-t of 1941.
S~CI~ON 2: That the City Oouncil hereby declares its intention to
vacate Thomas Street frc~ Cleveland Avenue to Vincent A~, Vincent Avenue
frc~ Fourth Street to ~homas Street, Seventh Street frc~ Milliken Avenue to
Cleveland Avenue, Cleveland Averse frc~ Fourth Street to Sixth Street, a
portion of Cleveland Avenue (generally the easterly 6 feet) frc~ Sixth Street
to Seventh Street and a portion of the nortb~k3mt corner of Seventh Street and
Cleveland Avenue, as shown on Map V-131, on file in the Office of the City
Clerk, legal descriptioms, reservations and detailed sketches of which are
attached hereto mark~d Emh/bits "A", "B" and "C" respectively and by reference
made a part hereof.
S~CTION 3: ~hat th~ City Council hereby fixes Wednesday, the 2nd day
of November, 1994, at 7:00 p.m., in the City Oouncil Chambers, located at
10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cu~, California, as the time and place
for hearing all persons objecting to the proposed vacations for the purpose of
its determining whether said City streets are necessary for present or
prospective street purposes.
S~CTION 4: That the City Street Superintendent shall cause notices
to be posted oonspicuously along tb~ line of the streets or part thereof
t=x~Dsed to be vacated at least 14 days before the hearing, not more than 300
feet apart and not less than three signs shall be posted, each of which shall
have a copy of this resolution on them and shall have the following title in
lettering not less than one inch in height: "NOTICE OF HEARING TO VACATE

S~CTION 5: Tne subject vacations shall be subject to the
reservations and exceptions, if any, for existing utilities c~ reoord.
SECTION 6: The Mayor shall sign this R~solution and the City Clerk
shall attest to the sam~, and the City Cl~rk shall cause sam~ to be published
14 days before the date set for the hearing, at least once in Inland Valley
Daily Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of
Ontario, Califc~a, and circulated in the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California.
