MEMORANDUM
1977
Date: December 3, 1986
To: City Council
From: Historic Preservation Commission
By: Bea Smiderle, Senior Office Assistant
Subject: Proposed Street Names
It was brought to the attention of the Historic Preservation
Commission's attention by the Citizens Advisory Commission to
forward to them a proposed list of historic street names, and
if any consideration had been made in naming any new streets
from this list.
Per previous Council request, the Historic Preservation
Commission had compiled a list of names with historic
significance in our City.
On May 10, 1984, recommendation was made that City Council
consider forwarding these names to the City Engineering
Division for possible incorporation into street naming
policies within future developments.
The Historic Preservation Commission would greatly appreciate
an update if any of the attached list of street names have
been incorporated within the City.
