A RESOI//I~ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCMO
~, C_AT.TFORNIA, ADOPTING THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL
FOR THE EXP~I~DITUTE OF MEASRUE "I" FUNDS
WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved passage of measure "I"
in November, 1989 authorizing San Bernard/no Associated Governments, acting as
the San Bernardino County TraCtion Authority, to impose a one-half of
one percent retail transactions and use tax applicable in the incorporated and
unincorporated territory of the County of San Bernard/no; and,
WHEREAS, revenue from the tax can only be used for transportation
improvement and traffic management programs authorized in the Expenditure Plan
set forth in Ordinance No. 89-1 of Authority; and,
WHEREAS, Expenditure Plans of the Ordinance requires each local
jurisdiction receiving revenue frc~ the tax to expend those funds pursuant to
a Five-Year Capital Improvement Program and Twenty-Year Plans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVSD that the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, State of California, hereby adopts the Measure "I" Five-Year
capital Improvement Program and Twenty-Year Transportation Plan, a copy of
which is attached to this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 4th day of May, 1994.

The 20 YeaR Local Measure I Transportation Plan for the expenditure of
Measure I fCnds will use the Cit¥'s General Plan Circulation Element as
